The Imperator Scottorum Association

The Imperator Scottorum Association is something of an umbrella organisation under which the Society of Ancient Irish Religion is one of many branches, along with the Celtic Rite revival movement and Hibernia Athnuachan, among others.

The Imperator Scottorum Association is dedicated to preserving the lineage and claims of Díolún mac Críostóir and his kin to the Irish High Kingship. They also seek out verifiable, living descendants of High King Ruaidrí Ua Conchobair to keep meticulous genealogies, so that an heir may always be identifiable.

These are the goals and aims of the Imperator Scottorum Association:

  1. To preserve and maintain the claims of Prince Díolún mac Críostóir and his family to the Irish High Kingship.

  2. To promote learning the Irish language, as well as Gaelic culture and history.

  3. To foster a strong sense of Irish culture and unity.

  4. To advocate for a united Ireland under a republic, with a monarch serving only as a cultural symbol and an icon of Irish history.

  5. To rekindle an interest in Irish monarchy.

  6. To reseat the descendants of Ireland’s last undisputed High King, Ruaidrí Ua Conchobair, upon the metaphorical Irish High Throne.
