Name:

Badb means 'Scald Crow' or merely 'Crow'

She is also titled 'Badb Catha' or 'Crow of Battle' which is connected to the Gaulish name Cathubouda. She may further be another name of Nemain and therefore also Fea, but this is currently debated.

Family:

Badb is the sister of the other Morrigu Anu and Macha. Therefore she is also the daughter of Ernmas and Delbaeth.

She was in addition married to Neit, along with his second wife Nemain. Though this could also be another name of Badb.
